The veteran community is important to us and we constantly strive to bring attention to their important and crucial causes. Through Paws and Stripes and several other local veteran programs we continue to shine a light on the need for veteran assistance. Veterans have received their medical cards for no charge from Smokal.
We love the pups and have covered adoption, shots and surgeries for more than 300 dogs from the Valencia Animal Shelter at no charge to their new owners. Visit one of our adoption events soon!
Smokal has held 10 free music and art collaborations with the local art and music community. Mr. Capone entertained more than 200 people, along with food, arts and crafts vendors, lowrider show-cars and family fun.
When the community is in need, Smokal is there. The tragic Ruidoso fires and flooding exposed the need for clothing, food and medicine. Smokal was the Red Cross designated supply drop off. Multiple truck and trailer loads have been transported to the ruidoso community from Smokal volunteers.
